As we finish 2017 we look back on what we have accomplished this year while looking forward with enthusiasm to 2018 for what is to come for the Women’s Franchise Committee Network Task Force.
With 19 Women’s Franchise Networks all over the US and Canada working closely with their local charities, franchisees and franchisors networking to impact on a larger scale, collaborate and share their talent and time, here are some of our notable achievements for 2017:
16 Networks held one or more local charitable event supporting local network chapters of Dress for Success, (dressforsuccess.org ), Feeding America (feedingamerica.org ) and supporting local schools providing lunch/school supplies.
By partnering with our local franchisees & franchisors who sponsor & host some of our events, we were able to:
Grow our WFN by three networks this year, adding Cincinnati/Southern Ohio, Seattle area and Charlotte.
Increase local attendance to our meetings.
Relaunch two dormant networks, Toronto & New York/New Jersey.
We thank you for your continued effort and commitment to the WFC & WFN as we drive forward in 2018 and urge all of you to continue to participate in the IFA franchise.org and the WFN IFA Women In Franchising by sharing your ideas and endless energies.
And don’t forget to register for the Annual Leadership Conference, hosted in conjunction with the IFA Annual Convention, Saturday, February 10 at the Phoenix Convention Center.
